Pokemon Gijinka Contest *RESULTS!*

Oh my goodness, voting was TOUGH! There were SO MANY closecalls between the votes that it was practically INSANITY! I took into account PLACEMENT within the votes as well as the number of votes, so I think that all the placements are fair. My votes included, it was a hard race to the finish line! With over 30 participants, it was difficult for us to pick winners! Thanks again to all who participated! Onwards to the results!

I loved this peice because I feel like Rooke actually thought deeply about the character and portrayed it within the gijinka himself. I enjoyed her explaination of her piece, and how she kept elements of Gilde as well as added her own. It was so interesting to look at, and I thought the title was clever and adorable.

I really like this entry because it's so... unique. Drawing a Graveller is a challenge, and Cherubien took that challenge and conquered it! The design really draws the eye in, and I love the text, too!

Once again, I'm wowed by Nana's attention to detail! It's such a vivid design, and I love how she worked the concept of Chikoru's flower into a cape! This piece is beautiful to look at, well balanced, and powerful, just like my darling starter. ^^

This entry is beautiful. I love the energy you feel, how happy and bright everything is. I also enjoy how you combined the essence of Tepi with her mother's memory. The attention to detail was subtle but there. It's a lovely work of art.

This entry, honestly, shocked me. I love Vileplume. It's my absolute favorite grass type from Generation 1. I couldn't have asked for a better depiction of Len as a Vileplume. He's very handsome, and is shown to have grown in more than just evolutionary status within this picture. Izuraemai-ko also offers a wonderful little description of her depiction of Vileplume!Len that I just fell in love with upon reading. It's such a creative concept! I adore this work, and I'm more than estatic to present it as the winner of this contest!

Crystal's Soul Silver Nuzlocke is well known for it's use of both Pokemon and gijinka within the story. As the artist, I use both designs to better portray the emotions of the Pokemon within the story. Many people enjoy CSSN for that difference alone, and I love all the wonderful comments I get about the style of each character.

Have you ever wondered what the gijinkas of Crystal's team will look like when they evolve? Do you have an idea in mind for their future appearance? Or maybe you think one of the gijinkas ought to look... a little different? How would YOU design the Pokemon of Crystal's team? Draw a gijinka design for the EVOLUTION of any member of Crystal's team, OR redesign a gijinka from Crystal's team! Previous evolutions also count for redesigning!

For evolutions, you may use ANY upcoming evolutions for the gijinka. Example: you may draw Fright as a Pidgeot instead of a Pidgeotto. ALL evolutions are open!

If you draw one picture featuring TWO characters, that counts as TWO ENTRIES!

Also! You may draw MORE than two (2) entries for the contest, however ONLY TWO MAY BE SUBMITTED TO THE GIJINKA CONTEST FOLDER! Any others MUST be submitted to the FANART FOLDER!

You may design/redesign up to TWO (2) characters! You can do either one for each catagory OR 2 in one catagory.
